PRSSA

PRSSA is the Public Relations Student Society of America student organization at KU. PRSSA's mission is enable future PR practitioners to have a chance to network and learn from professionals that speak to the organization. PRSSA meets twice monthly and most meetings have free pizza. Joni Hammer is the current president in 2007-2008.

PRSSA maintains a strong relationship with the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications.


The first PRSSA meeting of the spring semester will take place Tuesday, January 29, at 7 p.m. in Dole 2092. This will be an informal "meet and greet" meeting where the officers will introduce themselves and the president will explain what PRSSA is and the various opportunities that are available to its members. As always, free food will be provided.

Jayhawk Communications (also known as JComms) is a student-run public relations firm associated with KU's PRSSA chapter.
