Chi Omega Fountain

The Chi Omega Fountain (often abbreviated as the Chi O Fountain) is the largest of the fountains on campus located at the intersection of Jayhawk Boulevard and West Campus Road in front of the Chi Omega house. Built to honor the founders of Chi Omega and donated to KU by the sorority's members, it was dedicated on April 23, 1955, shortly after its construction was completed. The fountain itself is very detailed. The carved sides of the fountain depict the myth of Demeter, Chi Omega's patron goddess.

How does KUpedia work?

Just like its big brother/sister Wikipedia, KUpedia is written by a community of interested editors. Who are these editors? You! This directory of important information is only made possible by the efforts of interested readers who decide that they have something they can add to the wiki.

Why KUpedia?

Have you ever had a professor say on the first day of class "Don't use Wikipedia in this class!" -- and how many students smiled and nodded, and then pulled up Wikipedia to find whatever they needed to start their research papers? Wouldn't it be great if there was a collaborative site with all the information that is truly important to KU students?

Because, let's face it. College is tough enough already. We are all smarter, together. Do you need information on a specific student organization or what student fees you pay each semester? KUpedia has it.
